Quadra-Tek™
is dedicated to engineering the success of customers’
products through custom development of tight-tolerance precision
molds in thermoset or thermoplastic.
We supply
vital parts for electronic, aerospace, computer, military
and medical industries, such as:
• A thin-walled
membrane capable of holding a dimension within .0022 to .0032
inches to be used in a medical application.
•
A damper rotor for a rate gyro to be used in an aviation guidance
system being built by Northrop Corporation.
•
A base with an accurate post-bake, to be used as part of the
assembly of an extremely accurate temperature gauge used in
satellites for Texas Instruments.
•
A battery holder of polyphenylene sulfide material to replace
the metal fabrication being used in an aerospace project by
Textron Defense Systems.
•
An extremely thin blade in the tool steel of a grommet shield
required the parts to be hand-finished—under a microscope—with
needle files, for Honeywell.
•
Specialty materials which were used for approximately 20 molds
when cosmetic appearance was important for a commemorative
Apple anniversary model PC.

Services
With our
individual program management we work with clients throughout
the entire design and production process. This enables us
to recognize and avoid potential problems before they affect
cost, production or quality. This partnership expands into
the arenas of technical distinction, which makes it possible
for Quadra-Tek™ to offer individually-tailored, quality
assurance plans through performance-based quality control.

Quality Molds
To facilitate
the production of quality molds that will last through countless
runs, Quadra-Tek provides superior tooling for large and small
quantity requirements.
Our in-house
tool and die shop enables us to not only produce quality molds,
but we specialize in producing standard frame set-ups that
can significantly reduce tooling costs. And, if you have an
existing mold, we can convert it to fit our standard frames.
Additionally, Quadra-Tek has partnerships with outside toolmakers. This combination of in-house production and outsourcing allows us to
provide customers with the best quality, price and delivery.

Prototyping
For companies
with the need to prototype new parts or those requiring only
small-run work, Quadra-Tek™ is committed to enabling
them to meet their goals. We welcome customers in need of
quality custom molds for limited runs of thermoset or thermoplastic
materials. And, through our individual program management,
we consult with each customer throughout the design process
to develop the most efficiently built single cavity in order
to prototype the necessary part(s).
