Q: What happened when a customer decided to no longer support its own molding facility?

A: As part of a plan for the seamless conversion of the take-over of some 300 different molds, Quadra-Tek™ purchased some of the client’s existing equipment. By converting some of the hand molds to automatic, we actually proved to be more cost-efficient as an outsource supplier than when the operation was inside. Plus, the client was able to use its now-available facility space for more profitable segments of its business.
