Texas Instruments came to Quadra-Tek™ because its current supplier wasn’t satisfactorily producing a base that was part of an assembly for a very accurate temperature gauge. Because it was used in satellites, it was critical that Quadra-Tek™ stop the inconsistencies in holding tolerances that prevented the gauge from accurately recording temperatures. We realized that the job had a demanding SPC (statistical process control), an accurate post-bake and the need to separate each cavity’s production for quality control purposes.

Results: Quadra-Tek™ was able to refurbish the mold and has been molding successful product for TI ever since.
